It’s the Lord’s Prayer Map of Life!
Have you ever noticed that the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) is a terrific summary of the whole Bible? Think about it. In his prayer, Jesus deals with salvation, worship, obedience, depending on God, sin and forgiveness–everything we need to know to have a great Christian life that leads straight to heaven.
It occurred to me some time ago that the Lord’s Prayer is very much like a Map to Life. If I live according to the “landmarks” on it, I’ll be right where God wants me.
So I’ve made this Map of Life to use as a learning activity in Sunday School. An awesome paper version with full explanation of the things you see in the photos above and how this all works is available HERE.

Materials: The green land is 1/8″ mdf paneling. So is the black road, which is a separate layer. The map is about 20-inches by 32-inches. The labels are glued to the same mdf stuff, and a block of pine elevates each label a bit.
Tools: Jigsaw, paint items, glue.
Difficulty. It’s straightforward when made out of wood, super easy if you use poster board.
